Southwest United's 2009 Girls are headed to nationals this October after earning silver at provincials. Coached by Moe Chehimi, the team will travel to Newfoundland to compete against clubs from across Canada.
The qualification marks a proud achievement for the players and an opportunity to take their season onto the national stage. Having secured a place among the province's top teams, the girls now have another challenge ahead as they prepare for a different level of competition.
For Southwest United, this is a moment to celebrate everyone involved in the team's journey. The players, coaching staff, and families all share in an achievement that will see the SWU crest represented far from home.

For a player connected to the SWU community, signing a professional contract is a milestone worth recognising. It opens a new chapter for Aksel, with the opportunity to continue developing in a professional environment and take on the expectations that come with it.
His journey has also included selection for the Whitecaps Caps to College program. Now, his move to Cavalry adds another significant achievement as he continues pursuing opportunities in the game.

The agreement brings SWU's on-field and off-field clothing together under one supplier. From preparing for a training session to stepping onto the pitch on matchday, Capelli Sport will be part of how our players represent Southwest United.
The range extends beyond playing kits. With casual wear also included, the partnership gives the SWU community more ways to wear the club's colours away from the field and carry that connection into everyday life.
